There are two ways of creating a dry ice effect, they are:
SOLID CARBON DIOXIDE
When you plunge solid carbon dioxide into boiling water, it immediately starts turning from a solid into a gas without going through the liquid stage in doing so it picks up steam from the water giving it its distinctive white low level smoke. Click here for data sheet.
This is the Le Maitre Pea Souper dry ice machine.
LOW LEVEL FOG
This effect is created by rapidly cooling the smoke from a smoke machine so that its temperature makes it sink to the floor instead of rising into the air like normal smoke machines.
This is a low level smoke machine.
Both these methods are available to you but with the " REAL " Dry Ice please give as much notice as possible as this product cannot be stored and has to be ordered in.
